LEVEL 3 IT APPRENTICE

We are looking for a Level 3 IT Apprentice who would like to join our dynamic and successful school and learn how to manage school network hardware and software; someone who would like to be part of a friendly and hard-working team.
 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have appropriate IT knowledge and experience with a good knowledge of PCs and tablets, software, networks and associated peripherals
  • Have a good understanding of Windows operating systems and servers as well as Microsoft packages and other operating systems
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and work positively with staff and students
  • Be a self-starter, who is diligent with assigned work, able to work independently and show initiative
  • Have good organizational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to demonstrate good problem solving skills
  • Be able to prioritise a busy workload while remaining calm under pressure
  • Be a good team member with a positive outlook and a sense of humour
  • Be able to carry out manual and physical duties and tasks
  • Have a record of excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Be willing to undergo continual professional training in order to keep the school’s IT department at the forefront of constantly changing technology
  • Be resourceful, positive and enthusiastic about IT and the impact it can have within a school environment
  • Uphold school policies and routines and maintain confidentiality
  • Be aware of, and committed to, health and safety at work
  • Be committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the principles and practice of equal opportunities
  • Be committed to the principles and practice of safeguarding all young people
