JACK PETCHEY AWARDS
On Wednesday 12th February, our 2019 Jack Petchey student winners, along with their family and friends, attended a prestigious awards ceremony at Watersmeet Theatre, Rickmansworth to formally celebrate their contributions to the school and wider community.
Warm congratulations to all of our winners for their fantastic achievement.

For being extremely helpful to many members of staff before school, at lunch time and 
after school.

For supporting KS3 Football. Luca helps out every lunchtime and has also been a great help at fixtures.

For the advice and support she has given to younger students on how to effectively 
manage social media and positive relationships.

For helping to lead a number of charity events since she joined Whitmore. Her lovely, thoughtful nature makes her an asset to her year group and the school.

For using his enthusiasm for software development to create Apps for young people 
that are both educational and safeguard their personal information.

For her voluntary contribution to care settings and pre-schools in the local community. She is a really positive role model for young people.

For showing great leadership and being such an excellent role model. His peers have
so much respect for him in all aspects of school life. Also for his commitment to the badminton team.

For being an exemplary role model in the sixth form; he regularly gives up his time to support students in PE lessons. He has also recently helped a friend through a really difficult time.

For all the time and effort she put into creating and delivering an assembly to her peers celebrating diversity and equality. Students and staff were very impressed with Grace's dedication and professionalism and found her presentation very inspiring.
