UKBC Biology Challenge 2025

This year’s Biology Challenge saw an incredible 42,000 students from across the country put their scientific knowledge to the test. Aimed at students aged 13 to 15, the competition offered a fun and engaging way to explore the wonders of biology - from the smallest cells to the complexities of ecosystems.

Forty brave Year 9 and 10 students took part and tackled a wide range of questions designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of the natural world. The challenge not only showcased academic excellence but also encouraged a lifelong interest in science and discovery.

All participants received a certificate. Congratulations to each of them! Huge congratulations to Anjini, Tiya and Anay who achieved Gold; only 5% of all students who took part achieved this!
