Student Success: Natalia Crowned British Champion!
We are delighted to celebrate the incredible achievements of one of our Sixth Form students, Natalia who has returned to school this September after an outstanding summer.
Alongside preparing for and completing her GCSEs, Natalia was also training rigorously for the British Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships. Her hard work, discipline and dedication paid off in spectacular fashion - she and her team delivered one of the highest-scoring routines of the entire event and were crowned British Champions.
In addition to this remarkable success, Natalia has been training at the National Sports Centre in Lilleshall, working alongside her England team mates. This opportunity reflects her commitment to performing at the highest level of her sport and highlights the recognition she has earned nationally.
We are very proud to welcome Natalia into the Sixth Form, where she is now studying A Level PE alongside her other subjects. She is a fantastic role model for younger students, demonstrating that with determination and passion, it is possible to achieve excellence both in sport and in education.
Congratulations, Natalia on this outstanding success!
Here in the PE department at Whitmore High School we love to celebrate our students’ sporting successes! We aim to build a positive and nurturing sporting environment committed to showcasing student success. If your child takes part in any organised clubs, sports and competitions from grassroots all the way through to national or championship levels we would love to hear and know about it. If your child is involved in any sport individual and/or teams we want to help celebrate that success.
Please send any team photos and a short paragraph describing your child’s success and achievement in sport to: office@whitmore.harrow.sch.uk
Please address the email to Miss O. Brownlee (PE Department) and your child and their sporting success could be celebrated in the newsletter for the whole school!!
