Spring Term
January 2017 – Jenelle Greg-Fuller 9EN
Jenelle consistently maintains a positive attitude to school. She tries extremely hard with her studies, and participates in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including representing the school in a variety of sporting teams. Jenelle is an excellent role-model to her peers.
February 2017 – Saimon Chettri 10BI
Saimon only joined Whitmore this year, however he has already had a hugely positive impact on the school community. He is a hard-working and talented student, who always applies himself in lessons. He is also a very kind and considerate individual, and can regularly be found in the library after school, giving up his time to support his peers with their work and revision. He is always cheerful and friendly, giving encouragement where needed and is valued by many.
March 2017 – Sharon Ochieng 11HR
Sharon was nominated by a number of her peers for the hard work, determination and grit that she has displayed this year in the lead up to her GCSE exams. Despite the everyday pressures that this can bring, Sharon has faced them with a smile and been a calming, supportive and positive influence on her peers.

April 2017 – Abigail Thevaseyan 10CL
Abigail is a bright and bubbly student who makes an excellent contribution to school life at Whitmore. She participates in a wide range of extra-curricular activities including the school’s band, choir and debating club. Recently, she won the Harrow Borough ‘Speak Out’ competition, despite entering as the ‘Runner-up’ of the previous school heat, demonstrating not only her outstanding skills as a public speaker, but also her resilience. A fantastic role model to her peers.
All nominees will receive a citizen certificate in assembly.
