Christmas Appeal 2019

Christmas appeal 1December saw the launch of another successful Christmas Appeal to support less fortunate members of our community over the festive season. Every year, we collect donations for both the Children’s A&E Department at Northwick Park Hospital and a local food bank.

This year, students and their families in Year 9, 10 and 11 collected toys to give to sick children who will spend Christmas in A&E. The staff at the hospital were very grateful for our generous donation and explained how the toys would bring joy to children and their families during their stay at the hospital.

Families of students in Year 7, 8, 12 and 13 collected food for the Trussell Trust food banks. With at least 1Christmas appeal 2 in 5 people in the UK living below the poverty line, the charity works hard to provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. Your donations will go a long way to help combat poverty and hunger in the local community.

We would like to thank all students and their families for their kind and generous donations.
