An Unforgettable Journey to the Spanish Institute
A series of exhilarating school trips recently took our students to the Spanish Institute near Temple, London, where they immersed themselves in the vibrant world of Spanish -speaking countries. These trips were not just about learning a language; they were a journey into the heart of diverse cultures, with plenty of fun along the way!
Each visit kicked off with a range of morning activities that brought the rich tapestry of Spanish-speaking countries to life. The students eagerly engaged in every task allowing them to practice Spanish in a lively, supportive environment while gaining a deeper appreciation for the varied cultures of Spain and Latin America.
Students and staff gathered outside to enjoy lunch on benches, basking in the beautiful sunshine. In the afternoon, the excitement continued as everyone settled in to watch the inspiring film "Campeones." The movie, which tells the story of a basketball coach who works with a team of players with intellectual disabilities, delivered powerful messages of teamwork, resilience, and the triumph of the human spirit. It was not only an entertaining watch but also a moving reminder of the importance of inclusion and empathy.
