School Production - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Huge congratulations to over fifty students who took part in the production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream before half term.

Production week kicked off with two days of technical rehearsals over the weekend where the last set pieces, props, costume and make up issues were ironed out as well as getting professional sound and lighting set up. On Monday, 10th February we had 90 pupils from Longfield Primary School watching the dress rehearsal and we were really pleased to learn that they understood and enjoyed the play from their positive feedback, which gave everyone a much needed energy boost.

The three evening performances went brilliantly. It was so nice to see everyone relaxing into their roles whether they were on stage or behind the scenes to produce a really slick show. It is always so positive to see students working well together across the year groups to create a show of extremely high quality.

A final big thank you to all who were involved in making this happen from people in administration, technicians and site staff to teachers, parents, and of course our brilliant students. You will find a selection of photos from the performance on the next page.
