Year 7s Step into the World of Paddington Bear!
On Thursday 22nd May, 40 Year 7 students set off on a trip to London to visit The Paddington Experience, an exciting new immersive attraction dedicated to the beloved bear from darkest Peru.
Students journeyed through the world of Paddington Bear, stepping onto a replica of Paddington Station, boarding a train to 32 Windsor Gardens where Paddington lives, exploring The Browns’ home, Mrs. Bird’s kitchen and the Peruvian Jungle! Students even got to take part in an interactive marmalade-making station. Throughout the immersive experience we had to complete hands-on activities, puzzles and challenges to help solve a mystery and prepare for the Marmalade Festival! We were fully immersed in scenes straight from the classic books and films and even got to meet Paddington himself!
Following the Paddington Experience we had lunch in Jubilee Gardens, enjoying a view of The London Eye and Houses of Parliament. We had a great marmalade – packed day out in London and it was great to see students fully engaged in the experience, asking questions, being inquisitive and immersed in the world of Paddington Bear. I’m sure this will be an experience that students remember for years to come!
