âPromoting the Power of Goodâ - Anti-Bullying Advocates
On Wednesday 26th November, the Year 7 Anti-Bullying Ambassadors worked with Ms Jayawardene to put together an assembly for the entire Year Group.
They wrote their own speeches about why they want to be an ABA and delivered them in front of all 270 members of Year 7. The students spoke brilliantly and we are all very proud of their hard work.
We are excited to announce that our 2025-2026 Anti-Bullying Advocates (ABAs) have now been selected! These students will play a key role in fostering kindness, respect and inclusion across our school community.
This year, our focus is on “The Power of Good” - a theme that encourages positive actions and celebrates the impact of small gestures in creating supportive environment. Over the coming months, our ABAs will lead activities, campaigns and events designed to raise awareness and promote a culture where everyone feels safe and valued.
Keep an eye out for updates in future newsletters as we share the fantastic work our ABAs are doing and how you can get involved.
Together, let’s make Whitmore High a place where good choices and good actions shine every day.
