Drawing with Style: Year 8 Cartoon Art Workshop
A group of Year 8 students who had made significant progress in Art, took part in an after school workshop on Thursday 11th December, as a reward for their hard work. In the session they created cartoon faces using sweets, learning how to create facial features using measurements to turn these into anime cartoon features, then adding sweets to finish off the features.
Students enjoyed the workshop with their friends and had the opportunity to eat part of their portrait artwork!
Trixie from 8EAZ commented that she wished she had more time to add even more sweets to further develop her portrait, but she really enjoyed creating her artwork alongside friends.
