Sky Living Day 2

Since October, Miss Prest has been working closely with the “SkySky Living Day 2
Sports Living for Sport” student team on developing a range of new sporting skills. The aim of this project is to make sporting activity a part of our daily lifestyle. Eighteen Year 9 and 10 students were involved, participating for 12 weeks before Ian Rose (4 time Paralympic medallist) returned to Whitmore to assess the success of the project. He was highly impressed with the strategies and skills the girls had put into place and praised them for their efforts. The girls then had a Judo session with the medallist and showed fantastic teamwork and spirit.
